How it works
- Start from any rubric. Bring an existing rubric, build one manually, or generate a draft from an assignment prompt.
- Submit work individually or in batches. Essays, research papers, case studies, lab reports, STEM problem sets, code, presentations, images, and other supported document formats.
- Review before anything is published. Gradebot drafts criterion-level scores, performance levels, rationales, and feedback. Educators edit and approve.
Capabilities
- Canvas and Brightspace workflows, including returning reviewed scores and comments to the Canvas gradebook
- Bulk file upload with background processing
- Confidence-guided review that surfaces the submissions worth a closer look
- Class-wide analytics
- Export to Excel, CSV, and Word
For departments and institutions
- Centralized onboarding and multi-section coordination
- Department-level analytics
- SSO/SAML
- Configurable data-retention controls with automated purge
- DPA support, auditability, and procurement documentation
- Onboarding and service-level options
Security and privacy
Gradebot is hosted on Microsoft Azure and uses Microsoft Entra External ID for authentication. Student data is processed to provide the requested service. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train generalized AI models. Gradebot operates as a FERPA School Official for participating U.S. institutions, with institution-configurable retention and automated purge controls.
Gradebot provides decision support only. Authorized educators remain responsible for reviewing and finalizing grades.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.
