What the publisher says
As described on Microsoft Marketplace.
A working document for BI teams. Power BI as native blocks. AI agents that respect Row-Level Security. DAX you can co-edit live.
Mosaic is where your BI team writes the analysis, builds the report, and ships it. Microsoft Entra ID is the only sign-in. Power BI is a first-class block type. Every AI call runs under the calling user's identity.

A typical Tuesday morning. Your FP&A lead opens last week's variance review. They drop the revenue dashboard into the page, ask "why did EMEA SME renewals drop in Q3?", watch the agent search the catalog, write the DAX, run it under their identity, and return the answer inline. They tighten the commentary, share the page, ship it. Twelve minutes, one workspace.
What you can do
- Ask in plain English, get verified answers. Mosaic finds the dataset in your governed catalog, drafts the DAX, runs it under the user's Entra identity, returns the result inline. Row-Level Security holds end-to-end.
- AI that verifies its own work. Every DAX query the agent generates is stress-tested against your live dataset. When it fails, the agent diagnoses the error and rewrites the query — up to three retries — before returning a result. You ship verified numbers, not generated code that might be quietly wrong.
- Embed any Power BI content. Reports, pages, visuals, dashboards, tiles, Q&A, bookmarks. All seven types render as native blocks.
- Build custom agents for the analyses you rebuild each cycle: variance commentary, sales pulse, board pack drafter, DAX reviewer. Define the brief once. Run it on schedule.
- One catalog. One search box. Every approved report, dashboard, dataset, and saved DAX query in your tenant — searchable by name, description, and tags.
- Collaborate live. Cursors, presence, shared agent sessions — your teammate sees what the AI is doing for you in real time. Two analysts on the same DAX query at the same time. No merge conflicts.
- Voice in, read aloud out. Hands-free exploration during meetings.
Built for
FP&A at month-end. Build the variance-commentary agent once — give it the dataset, the chart of accounts, the format your CFO expects. Run it every cycle. Analyst reviews, refines, ships.
Business analysts who don't write DAX. Ask in plain English. The agent finds the dataset, writes the DAX, runs it under your identity, returns the result. No BI ticket queue.
Compliance and security teams. Every AI session logged. Every tool call, every dataset access, every model used — exportable for audit. AI cannot exceed the user's own Power BI permissions.
How it's built
- Microsoft Entra ID is the only identity provider. No separate accounts.
- Hosted on Microsoft Azure. Tenant-level isolation enforced by Row-Level Security. Managed Identity throughout. Full AI session audit trail per tenant admin.
- Publisher Vizlake Analytics is ISO 27001 certified.
What you bring
Mosaic is platform-only pricing. Both data and inference stay in your tenant.
- Power BI capacity — Microsoft Fabric, Premium, PPU, or Embedded.
- LLM capacity — Azure AI Foundry (recommended), or an Anthropic / OpenAI API key you supply.
We don't bundle or resell Microsoft licensing or AI tokens. Inference is billed by your provider, with caps you set.

Compliance

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
Evidence risk is the share of the build you cannot see before you deploy, not a security rating. Sign in to see the layer-by-layer basis for this band.
