What the publisher says
As described on Microsoft Marketplace.
Cogniti, a multiple international and national award-winning solution developed at the University of Sydney, is a generative AI platform that empowers educators to create, control, and deploy AI "agents" tailored to their students’ learning needs without needing technical expertise.
Educators build agents and mini apps they and their students can trust, using plain-language instructions, and can ground AI’s knowledge in course content. With full visibility and control of students’ conversations and interactions, educators can gain insights into their misconceptions and identify teaching needs.

Integration into popular learning management systems (like Canvas, Moodle, and Brightspace) allows students seamless access to agents and mini apps built with care and understanding by their educators.
By building and sharing their AI agents and mini apps, Cogniti allows educators and institutions to address common challenges with generative AI including inequity of frontier AI access, privacy risks, and a lack of trust between AI, students, and educators. Educators can also create sandbox environments for students to create their own AI agents, under educator-defined guardrails, to further build AI literacy.
Much more than just an ‘AI tutor’, Cogniti is an open-ended platform that allows educators to ‘build their own’ AI. We have seen educators build agents and mini apps that give early feedback on student work, that help students practice client interactions, that answer common student questions, that provide advice on writing, that facilitate groupwork interactions, that coach students on study techniques, that break down complex concepts, that provide practice questions and feedback, and more.
The platform is educator-friendly, with most creating their first agent or mini app successfully within one hour. These can be shared with other educators, and there are built-in templates that are evidence-based to enable faster trialling and adoption. Cogniti puts educators in the drivers’ seat of AI so they can make their pedagogical and disciplinary expertise available for more students. It has been shown to improve student performance, build student confidence, unblock thinking, and enhance engagement.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
Evidence risk is the share of the build you cannot see before you deploy, not a security rating. Sign in to see the layer-by-layer basis for this band.
