What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

Altoura Training equips frontline workers with the practical skills and knowledge they need to operate safely and confidently in high-risk, complex, or regulated environments. Through immersive VR simulations, AR digital work instructions, and interactive browser-based learning, employees can practice procedures, identify hazards, troubleshoot equipment, and demonstrate competency without interrupting production or exposing people and assets to unnecessary risk. Enterprises can deploy Altoura Training across four categories:

Custom VR Training: Create equipment-, process-, and facility-specific VR simulations from SOPs, workflows, and physical environments. Employees can practice complex or high-risk tasks on realistic digital twins, follow guided instruction, and demonstrate competency through assessments before working with live equipment.

Custom AR Digital Work Instructions: Deliver step-by-step guidance while employees perform operating, maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting procedures on real equipment. Digital work instructions can be accessed through supported mobile devices, tablets, and HMDs, guiding workers at the point of work.

Prebuilt Training: Deploy ready-to-use immersive content for the Aseptic VR Training Catalogue. The catalogue covers aseptic technique and behaviour, facility cleaning and disinfection, and environmental monitoring. Its content aligns with EU Annex 1 and FDA guidance and can be adapted to site-specific procedures and requirements.

eLearning: Provide interactive, browser-based learning through solutions such as workplace hazard training, Electrical Fault Simulation, and H&S Training. These scenario-based modules deliver practical learning across desktops and tablets without requiring a VR headset.

Create and manage content with Altoura Creator Studio: It is the no-code authoring environment that L&D teams and SMEs can use to transform SOPs, PDFs, videos, images, and 3D models into interactive training and digital work instructions. Visual workflows, reusable assets, branching scenarios, guided practice, assessments, and AI-assisted narration make content easier to create, update, localize, and deploy across supported VR headsets, tablets, desktops, and browsers.

Turn operational information into actionable knowledge with EquipmentIQ: Transforms raw operational information into structured, reusable knowledge. It ingests manuals, SOPs, wiring and control diagrams, equipment images, maintenance records, technician videos, and expert narration, then organises this information into an equipment-specific asset graph. The asset graph connects procedures, individual steps, components, HMI screens, troubleshooting flows, tools, and specifications. This structured knowledge provides a trusted foundation for step-by-step VR training and custom AR digital work instructions. Employees receive relevant guidance for the task at hand, while organisations preserve valuable expertise and apply it consistently across teams, equipment, and sites.

Enterprise-ready workforce development

Designed for L&D, environmental H&S, operations, maintenance, quality, and frontline teams, Altoura supports guided practice, semi-guided learning, and competency assessment. Enterprise capabilities include role-based access, SSO, localisation, learner analytics, and LMS integration through SCORM and xAPI. Organisations can begin with prebuilt content, add browser-based eLearning, develop custom immersive training, and extend the same knowledge to employees at the point of work through AR digital work instructions.

Altoura Train-to-Work- An AR Remote Collaboration Platform: Extend training to the point of work with Altoura RemoteExpert

Altoura RemoteExpert is an AR remote-collaboration platform for organisations seeking to extend beyond training into real-time troubleshooting and operational support. It connects frontline workers securely with remote experts through live, two-way video and audio calls, including a “see what I see” view. Experts can guide workers by drawing or placing 3D mixed-reality annotations over their real-world view. Participants can also exchange documents, images, and webpages during a session, while session recordings support future training, knowledge capture, and compliance requirements. Altoura RemoteExpert is Microsoft Teams-native and available across major AR and VR headsets and mobile devices.

Together, Altoura Training and Altoura RemoteExpert provide a comprehensive door-to-floor workforce platform. Employees first build competency through realistic, risk-free training and then transition seamlessly to guided maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting in the workplace.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.
