What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

The QuSmart GENESIS Governance Agent delivers board defensible data lifecycle and compliance management governance for Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2). Governs the Cognitive Authority Boundary so no compromised, emergent or hostile agent can execute.

Human-Controlled Authorization & Accountability:

Show the rest of the publisher’s description (19 more lines)

Authorization originates with people, not with the agent. Control remains entirely in the hands of corporate leadership:

  • Plain Language Policy: Legal or AI Governance functions express policy in plain language, relayed through a Copilot Studio Governance Agent or Microsoft AI Foundry Governance Agent directly to the QuSmart GENESIS Governance Agent for enforcement.
  • Immutable State: Governance remains exactly as declared until the human authority explicitly changes it in natural language.
  • Dual-Gate Authorization: Permission to participate in an environment is distinct from permission to perform an operation against an asset. Each is an independent grant evaluated at the asset layer; both must exist for an operation to occur.

Governed Copilot Studio & Microsoft Foundry Agents:

Governed agents possess zero baseline authority and are strictly confined to four human declared lifecycle actions:

  • List: Query storage to get a definitive, authenticated list of available data.
  • Copy: Replicate data to another storage location for disaster recovery or lifecycle staging.
  • Move: Transfer data across boundaries, automatically deleting source data from the previous storage location upon successful transfer verification to prevent data sprawl.
  • Delete: Permanently remove data from storage to fulfill lifecycle, data minimization, and corporate retention compliance.

Streamline Data Compliance:

One QuSmart GENESIS Governance agent can and governs up to 175 combined Governance and downstream agents simultaneously, standardizing compliance across the enterprise ecosystem.

  • End-to-End Lifecycle Protection: Protects sensitive data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Absolute Storage Command Control: Restricts downstream agents strictly to authorized list, copy, move, and delete actions.
  • Regulatory Flexibility: Separates data access by department, function, or confidentiality level to drive Corporate Governance, meet EU Data Governance rules, or satisfy regulated industry mandates.
  • Sovereign Third-Party Sharing: Enables secure cross-domain sharing, ensuring each party retains complete control over their protected data.

Deployment & Commercial Terms:

Azure Managed Application: Provisions securely via Microsoft Certified Launch within the customer's tenant, maintaining absolute data sovereignty.

Billing Model: Customers are billed directly by Azure for the underlying compute resources plus an application software fee of $1.71 per hour per vCPU thread.

  • FedRAMPConfirmedNot listed90%, registry-checkedNo FedRAMP Marketplace entry matched this vendor's domain, checked 2026-08-27registry recordas observed 2026-08-27

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.
