What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

Built for the CISO or IT Director who has AI agents appearing in the tenant faster than anyone can inventory them, with no way to tell an auditor who owns each one or what it can reach. This engagement will eliminate ungoverned agent access and lower identity and network security spend by deploying the capabilities E7 already includes.

Who this is for

Show the rest of the publisher’s description (22 more lines)

Organizations that have moved, or are being asked to move, from Microsoft 365 E5 to E7. The CISO owns the exposure, because agents and the connectors they reach through are being created faster than anyone is tracking them, and few have an identity, an owner, or an expiry date. The IT Director owns the bill, because the same organization is usually still paying separately for a secure web gateway, remote access, and identity governance, all inside the Entra Suite E7 already includes.

What we deliver

  • An agent inventory covering Copilot Studio agents, declarative agents, third-party agents, and the connectors each one reaches through, with a named owner and a data-access map per agent.
  • An E5 to E7 delta review naming what the upgrade adds for your estate, cross-referenced against your secure web gateway, remote access, and identity governance contracts and their renewal dates.
  • Microsoft Agent 365 deployed as the control plane: agent identity, conditional access, lifecycle from provisioning to expiry, access packages, and Security Posture Management, so an ungoverned agent cannot be created.
  • Microsoft Entra Suite deployment covering Internet Access, Private Access, ID Governance lifecycle workflows, and Verified ID, sequenced so each service is proven at parity before the contract it displaces renews.
  • A benefits realization report per capability: what is deployed, what it replaced, and the agent estate before and after.Outcomes our customers see

An agent inventory across 2,400 seats found 61 percent of production agents had no named owner and no expiry date. Replacing a third-party secure web gateway and remote access product with Entra Internet Access and Private Access removed 31 percent of annual network security spend across 1,900 seats. Sequencing deployment against contract renewal dates avoided 240 days of double-running cost.

How this compares

Most partners treat E7 as a licensing transaction: process the upgrade, book the order, hand over. That leaves the customer paying an E7 price for an E5 estate, because everything E7 adds stays dark until someone configures it. Agent 365 in particular arrives as a control plane with nothing in it, and an empty control plane governs nothing. The Entra Suite services inside E7 displace third-party contracts, and that saving only lands if deployment is sequenced against renewal dates. We prove parity before you cancel anything.

Architecture and Microsoft alignment

Microsoft Agent 365 is configured as the control plane for agent identity, conditional access, lifecycle, and Security Posture Management, so agent activity carries the same governance as user activity. The full Entra Suite is deployed: Internet Access and Private Access change the network access topology, ID Governance adds lifecycle workflows and access reviews, and Verified ID is configured where an issuance use case exists. Purview extends labels, DLP, and audit to agent interactions, and Defender XDR carries agent detections. Aligned to the Microsoft solution plays Copilot and Agents at Work and Secure AI Productivity.

Plans

Plans, prices, and full scope per plan are on the Plans tab of this listing.

Prerequisites

Microsoft 365 E7 licensing in place, or E5 with a decision to upgrade during the engagement. Global Administrator consent, visibility of current secure web gateway, remote access, and identity governance contracts with their renewal dates, and a commercial stakeholder able to make the cancellation calls once parity is demonstrated.

Limitations

E7 is a superset of E5, so this engagement builds on E5 capability rather than redeploying it. Where Defender, Purview, and Entra ID P2 are already live and healthy we assess them and leave them alone; where they are not, the E5 adoption engagement is the right start. Agent governance covers agents that surface through Microsoft Entra and Agent 365. An agent running outside your tenant with no Entra identity sits outside the control plane, and the report says so rather than implying coverage we do not have. Power Platform licensing is separate from E7, and we do not terminate your third-party contracts.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.
