What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

Your documents leave your organization every day. Do you know what's in them when they go?

Settlement agreements with client SSNs. Medical records with diagnosis codes. Financial documents with account numbers. Every time someone on your team hits send, there's a chance something that shouldn't leave does.

Show the rest of the publisher’s description (31 more lines)

DataGuard fixes that automatically. It sits inside Microsoft 365, analyzes every document before it goes out, removes the restricted information based on your policies, and sends it through clean. No blocked sends. No IT tickets. No compliance manager needed.

Get protected in five minutes.

Most data protection tools require weeks of IT setup and a dedicated team to manage them. DataGuard deploys in under five minutes with zero IT expertise required. Set your policies once and it runs automatically. Your team works exactly as they do today.

What DataGuard Does

Removes sensitive information before documents go out

  • Analyzes documents against your privacy regulations, internal policies, and custom rules
  • Removes only what needs to come out; the document still reaches the recipient, complete and usable
  • Covers HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, FERPA and custom org policies out of the box

Works across every file type your team uses

  • Documents: PDF, DOCX, PPTX and more
  • Data files: JSON, CSV, XLSX and databases
  • Purpose-built privacy AI that never trains on your data
  • Cloud, hybrid, or on-premise deployment available

Gives employees instant privacy awareness

  • Every share shows the employee exactly what was removed and which regulation required it
  • Employees learn while they work, not in a seminar room

Gives management complete visibility

  • Every external share is logged automatically with an immutable, tamper-proof audit trail
  • See who shared what, when, and what DataGuard caught before it went out
  • Ready for regulators or auditors in minutes

Why Organizations Choose DataGuard Over Traditional DLP Tools

  • Deploys in five minutes, not weeks
  • No IT team or security staff required
  • Never blocks a send. Removes the risk and lets it through.
  • Priced for organizations without enterprise security budgets
  • On-premise deployment available, contact info@sidian.io

How DataGuard Works in Microsoft 365

Automatic document analysis (event-based activation): DataGuard automatically activates when you open a document in supported Microsoft 365 apps. It scans the document against your configured policies and displays detected sensitive information categories in the task pane. No document content is modified at this stage.

Send-time protection (smart alerts): When you share or send a document, DataGuard intercepts the action and displays a notification listing what was detected and what will be removed. The document is then sent automatically with restricted information redacted. Your send is never blocked.

Install DataGuard today.

Your team keeps working. Your clients' information stays protected. Every share, automatically.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
