What the publisher says

As described on AWS Marketplace.

This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for support. Whereabouts is a Kubernetes-native IP Address Management (IPAM) solution that allows dynamic assignment and tracking of IP addresses for containerized workloads. It is commonly used with Container Network Interface (CNI) plugins such as Multus to provide IP allocation across multiple nodes in a cluster. Unlike traditional host-local IPAM solutions, Whereabouts ensures cluster-wide IP uniqueness by maintaining a centralized record of allocated addresses. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6, making it suitable for modern cloud-native deployments. The tool is lightweight, written in Go, and integrates seamlessly with Kubernetes environments, allowing developers and DevOps teams to efficiently manage network configurations at scale. Whereabouts also improves network reliability by preventing IP conflicts and enabling better visibility into IP usage across distributed systems. It is ideal for organizations running complex Kubernetes workloads that require consistent and scalable IP management.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
