Intelligent Commerce is the Visa infrastructure designed to support AI driven commerce experiences. It enables autonomous agents, such as AI applications, marketplaces, and consumer facing apps and merchants, to complete agentic transactions on behalf of users and is designed to support cross network agentic commerce.

This solution enables foundational capabilities and services such as, Tokenization: provision and manage agent-specific payment tokens. Authentication: including passkeys and device binding. Payment Instructions: authenticated user instructions for agents. Commerce Signals: provide actionable signals to resolve disputes; improve fraud detection and enhance transaction integrity.

The APIs hosted through the AWS listing enables developers and companies building agents to interact with core agentic payment capabilities, such as card enrollment, authentication, purchase instruction management, and transaction signals so that agents can securely transact on behalf of their users, in alignment with the users intent and expectations.
