What the publisher says

As described on AWS Marketplace.

This API allows to check the validity of TIN (Tax Identification Number) numbers. The vaildity is assesed based on the pubilcally available specifications published by the OECD for the purpose of CRS (Common Reporting Standard) and, in some cases, other publically available information when the validity check can be improvded.

This API isn't connected to any domestic database of any of the available countries and only checks the TIN based on lenght, structure and in many cases also on complex checksum algorithms.
