What the publisher says
As described on AWS Marketplace.
AI Developer API Gateway by Code Creator is a ready to launch AI gateway server designed for developers, platform teams, startups, agencies, and businesses building AI powered applications.
This AMI provides a self hosted gateway layer for OpenAI compatible API workflows. Instead of wiring every application directly to one provider, users can launch this server in their AWS account and begin working with a central AI API gateway that supports provider routing, virtual keys, spend visibility, admin access, developer examples, and OpenAI compatible application integration.

The server is built on Ubuntu 24.04 and includes LiteLLM, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Docker Compose, and Nginx. LiteLLM runs behind Nginx and is bound internally to localhost for a cleaner security posture. The AMI includes a first boot automation process that generates fresh customer specific credentials, creates a FIRST_LOGIN guide, detects the new public IP address, starts the Docker stack, and prepares the instance for immediate browser and API access.
This product is also known as Private AI Developer Gateway by Code Creator. It is designed to complement private AI chat products by focusing on developer API infrastructure rather than end user chat alone. Customers can use it as a central OpenAI compatible API base for testing, development, application integration, virtual key management, and provider key onboarding.
Key capabilities include a LiteLLM Admin UI, OpenAI compatible API base, model route visibility, secure generated master key, support for customer supplied provider keys, PostgreSQL backed key and configuration storage, Redis backed caching, Nginx front door access, helper commands, developer examples, and first login documentation.
This AMI does not include customer provider API keys. Customers add their own OpenAI or other supported provider keys after launch. This gives users control over their own provider accounts, budgets, and application access while still benefiting from a preconfigured gateway environment.
This is a strong fit for AI application developers, internal engineering teams, software agencies, AI prototyping teams, and businesses that want a faster path to a centralized AI API gateway on AWS.
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
Evidence risk is the share of the build you cannot see before you deploy, not a security rating. Sign in to see the layer-by-layer basis for this band.
