Immuta Data Security Platform provides secure access to data stored in AWS hosted within your VPC. Working in the background of your VPC, Immuta enforces data security policies on connected AWS data sources as users query data. Immuta ensures dynamic, fine-grained data access control on AWS services, including Amazon Redshift, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Elastic MapReduce (Amazon EMR) by dynamically updating what data each user sees using advanced techniques like de-identification, hashing or masking, and other privacy enhancing technologies (PETs). Users can write data security policies once in plain language or as-code, and enforce them across all AWS data without copying, moving, or configuring user-based access to data. Immuta also provides sensitive data discovery capabilities to tag and classify sensitive data in AWS, creating highly accurate metadata for data security purposes. Lastly, Immuta continuously monitors data to track user query behavior in real time, providing insights into risky activity and the ability to proactively update policies.
As a managed service installed into your AWS account, Immuta secures and governs your data while ensuring it never leaves your environment. Once purchased, you will provide Immuta Data Security Platform access to provision resources and install and manage Immuta in your AWS account (note - CUSTOMERS WILL INCUR AWS COSTS).
