Knowledge Engineering & Semantic Modeling is a professional service for organizations adopting d.AP - Knowledge Layer Platform as a governed semantic foundation for enterprise AI, analytics, and data products. digetiers works with customer stakeholders to identify the target business problem, define the relevant concepts and relationships, assess source-system readiness, and design an ontology-grounded knowledge model. The service can include domain discovery, semantic modeling, data and ontology mapping, source integration planning, governance design, access model definition, lineage requirements, and validation of representative questions or use cases. Depending on the selected scope, digetiers configures the d.AP environment, implements the agreed semantic model, connects supported data sources, creates reusable Knowledge Products, and enables approved consumers such as Aluna, AI agents, dashboards, BI tools, or custom applications. The engagement is structured around measurable customer outcomes and a documented handover. Typical outcomes include a documented semantic model, a prioritized source and integration plan, configured ontology and mappings, validated business questions, governance and permissions design, lineage expectations, reusable query or Knowledge Product definitions, and enablement for customer teams. The service is delivered through a jointly agreed scope of work. It does not include unrestricted custom software development, replacement of customer source systems, ongoing managed operations, or third-party licenses unless these items are explicitly included in the applicable private offer. If the engagement requires resources in the customer's AWS account or other infrastructure, digetiers will document the required services, access permissions, deployment steps, and customer responsibilities. Any additional AWS infrastructure charges are separate from the AWS Marketplace transaction and are paid by the customer.
