What the publisher says
As described on AWS Marketplace.
MarketLens is an automated market intelligence tool that is designed to transform government procurement data into actionable insights by consolidating and summarizing findings. Built for public sector agencies, it delivers vendor research, competition analysis, and report-ready market intelligence in minutes, not weeks.
The application runs as containerized services on Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), with container images managed in Amazon ECR and traffic delivered through an Application Load Balancer configured to support long-running, real-time analysis sessions. Generated reports, CSV/JSON exports, and source-system data extracts are stored on Amazon EFS, shared across application instances for consistent access. Amazon CloudWatch powers the platform's real-time progress tracking and logging, and AWS Secrets Manager secures the credentials used to connect to external data and AI services. The platform's AI integration layer is provider-agnostic by design, supporting Amazon Bedrock alongside other large language model providers, so customers are not locked into a single AI vendor.

Conducting procurement market research traditionally means manually pulling data from multiple government systems, reconciling inconsistent formats, and spending days assembling findings. MarketLens mitigates that burden. It collects, cross-references, and analyzes contract award data across USASpending.gov, SAM.gov, and the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), then produces a polished, decision-ready report—so acquisition professionals can focus on strategy instead of spreadsheets.
Effective for contracting officers, acquisition and procurement professionals, market research analysts, and program teams across federal, state and local agencies that need reliable, repeatable procurement market intelligence.
Key features:
- Automated Market Research — Analyze years of federal contract awards with customizable filters for agencies, NAICS codes, contract types, and business categories.
- Top Vendor Identification — Automatically rank and profile leading contractors by both contract count and total obligated dollars.
- Competition & Pricing Analysis — Assess market concentration, incumbent patterns, small-business participation, and pricing strategies across key dimensions of market intelligence.
- Multi-Source Vendor Enrichment — Cross-reference top vendors across USASpending.gov and SAM.gov entity records and incorporate GSA MAS schedule and rate-card data.
- One-Click Report Generation — Produce comprehensive, professionally formatted document reports, with data also exportable to CSV and JSON.
- Real-Time Progress Tracking — Monitor every stage of data extraction and analysis live through the web interface.
- Benefits for public sector teams:
- Faster acquisition planning — Compress days of manual research into a repeatable, automated workflow.
- Consistency and defensibility — Standardized, source-traceable analysis supports market research documentation and acquisition strategy requirements.
- Reduced manual effort — Free contracting officers, market research analysts, and acquisition staff from tedious data wrangling.
Whether you are identifying qualified vendors, evaluating the competitive landscape, or building the market research foundation for an acquisition, MarketLens can help turn fragmented government procurement data into clear, actionable intelligence.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
Evidence risk is the share of the build you cannot see before you deploy, not a security rating. Sign in to see the layer-by-layer basis for this band.
