This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for support. Whereabouts is a Kubernetes-native IP Address Management (IPAM) solution that allows dynamic assignment and tracking of IP addresses for containerized workloads. It is commonly used with Container Network Interface (CNI) plugins such as Multus to provide IP allocation across multiple nodes in a cluster. Unlike traditional host-local IPAM solutions, Whereabouts ensures cluster-wide IP uniqueness by maintaining a centralized record of allocated addresses.
