The Pay-i Pilot proves the platform on your own production agents in six weeks. Pay-i instruments GenAI workloads running on AWS, including Amazon Bedrock models and agents built on AWS AgentCore, giving you spend, usage, and value measurement for those services. Pay-i hosts a dedicated pilot environment for you, so there is nothing to install in your infrastructure, and Pay-i sits outside the agent execution path, so it can never disrupt agent operations. Your first GenAI use cases are instrumented, and the pilot closes with an executive readout showing what each use case costs, what value it produced, and how measurement scales across your portfolio.

Full cost visibility. Complete unit economics for each instrumented use case: every resource an agent touches, cost distributions per execution, and latency. This goes well past token counting.
A value framework for the program. A use-case taxonomy, business KPIs with measurement definitions and targets per use case, and value policies that convert outcomes into a quantified dollar figure per execution. Every future use case inherits this framework as the program scales.
An ownership model with teeth. Every use case gets a named business owner and technical owner, accountability rolls up along your own org lines, and cost guardrails run inside boundaries the owners agreed to.
HOW THE PILOT RUNS
Week 1: Environment and ownership foundation. Your dedicated Pay-i pilot environment is provisioned and configured for your identity (SSO) and security requirements, with a security checkpoint for your InfoSec review. Your org structure is mapped into Pay-i so spend and value roll up along accountability lines, and each use case gets named owners.
Week 2: Instrumentation and cost baseline. Your engineers are trained and instrument the pilot use cases with Pay-i supporting live; each agent, including those calling Amazon Bedrock models or running on AWS AgentCore, connects through a single line of instrumentation. Cost attribution is validated end to end.
Week 3: Value framework definition. Pay-i's automated KPI generation recommends KPIs per use case, grounded in industry benchmarks and your own data. Working sessions with the business owners set targets and value policies, signed by the owners.
Week 4: Value activation. Value policies go live, the use-case leaderboard populates with cost and value, accountability reporting is wired per owner, and cost governance controls are set.
Week 5: Operating cadence and enablement. Structured training for executives, practitioners, and engineers, plus the intake process and recurring review cadence that keep the program running after the pilot ends.
Week 6: Executive readout and scale-out plan. Pilot findings with cost and value evidence per use case, and the roadmap for extending the framework across your full agent portfolio.
