What the publisher says

As described on AWS Marketplace.

Perficient's Zero-Cost AI-Led Modernization Discovery removes the single biggest barrier to modernization: the lack of factual data. In three weeks, Perficient configures and operates AWS Transform to assess your on-premises infrastructure, mainframe, and legacy application portfolio at no cost to you. The platform's AI agents collect server inventory and utilization data, map network dependencies, analyze mainframe source code, and score application complexity across your VMware vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V, bare metal, IBM z/OS, .NET Framework, SQL Server, and Java codebases. Every discovery engagement produces four deliverables: an Evidence Pack of raw AWS Transform artifacts, a Findings Register of evidence-backed risks and observations, an Opportunity Backlog of SOW-ready work packages, and a Decision Pack formatted for executive review. No production workloads are modified during the engagement, and no customer data leaves your AWS account.

Perficient's consultants go beyond what the platform produces on its own. Our team validates findings against your known environment, identifies gaps and anomalies, and translates complexity scores and cost models into the business-risk language your CFO and IT leadership need to move a modernization budget request forward. Discovery modules are selected based on your environment: Infrastructure Discovery and Migration Readiness covers server estate migration wave planning and EC2 right-sizing; Migration Economics delivers on-premises TCO versus AWS run-rate comparison for up to 30,000 servers; Mainframe Discovery addresses IBM z/OS modernization readiness including data lineage, SMF activity analysis, and decomposition planning; and Transform Custom PoC validates automated transformation patterns for .NET, Java, SQL Server, or custom codebases with repeating technical debt.

This offering relates to AWS Transform, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon EC2, AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), and the AWS Migration Evaluator. It is designed for organizations at the beginning of a cloud migration or application modernization conversation, those facing infrastructure cost pressure from VMware licensing changes following the Broadcom acquisition, those with mainframe operations exposed to a narrowing specialist talent pool, and those whose modernization initiatives have stalled for lack of an approved business case. The discovery findings are structured to scope and justify follow-on Perficient modernization engagements directly, with no additional scoping exercise required.

Highlights

Highlighted by the publisher on AWS Marketplace.

Perficient delivers a complete modernization discovery of your on-premises infrastructure, mainframe, and legacy application portfolio using AWS Transform at zero cost to you. In three weeks, your team receives a factual inventory, a complexity analysis, and a cloud cost model, all ready for executive review, with no production workloads modified and no data leaving your AWS account.

Every engagement produces four structured deliverables: an Evidence Pack, Findings Register, Opportunity Backlog, and Decision Pack designed to move a modernization budget request forward. Discovery modules cover VMware and Hyper-V migration readiness, IBM z/OS mainframe analysis, .NET and SQL Server application modernization, and on-premises TCO versus AWS run-rate comparison.

Perficient consultants interpret AWS Transform outputs to translate technical findings into the business-risk language your CFO and IT leadership need to justify a cloud migration or application modernization program. The Opportunity Backlog closes as SOW-ready work packages, giving your team a scoped path to a follow-on Perficient modernization engagement with no additional discovery required.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.
