What the publisher says
As described on AWS Marketplace.
ORION Managed Intelligence Platform provides government agencies, law enforcement organizations, defense contractors, and commercial teams with a continuously operating open-source intelligence (OSINT) capability.
Built on a vetted, multi-source ingestion pipeline processing domestic, global, and domain-specific sources, ORION produces structured event briefs using a consistent WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY (5W) format, along with pattern detection, temporal story development, and geospatial context. The system is designed to reduce information fragmentation and deliver analyst-ready intelligence outputs rather than raw aggregated feeds.

Brief Technologies LLC operates ORION as a managed intelligence service, handling source curation, ingestion pipeline operations, model tuning, and system maintenance. Customers receive access to a production-ready intelligence capability without the need to build or manage complex data collection and processing infrastructure.
ORION is deployment-flexible and can be operated within customer-controlled environments, including cloud platforms and on-premises systems. For organizations operating within AWS environments, ORION supports deployment aligned with AWS services such as Amazon EC2 for compute, Amazon S3 for storage, and Amazon RDS for structured data. This enables integration into existing AWS-based workflows, security models, and cloud architectures.
The platform supports multiple deployment models, including customer-managed deployments and managed service delivery, allowing organizations to align implementation with their security, compliance, and operational requirements, including environments such as AWS GovCloud where applicable.
ORION was designed by a U.S. Army Military Intelligence veteran and reflects real-world intelligence tradecraft, including source verification prior to dissemination, human-in-the-loop analytical workflows, and pattern-of-life analysis applied to open-source data.

Linked repositories
Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
Evidence risk is the share of the build you cannot see before you deploy, not a security rating. Sign in to see the layer-by-layer basis for this band.
