What the publisher says

As described on AWS Marketplace.

ChipAgents is the AI agent built for the chip design stack. Hardware engineers spend weeks tracking down simulation failures, writing boilerplate UVM testbenches, and debugging timing violations. ChipAgents compresses that work by combining a conversational agent with deep chip-domain expertise and direct integration with the tools your team already uses. Built for Hardware, Not Adapted from Software Most AI coding tools were designed for web and application development and retrofitted for hardware. ChipAgents is different. It was designed from day one to understand the hardware engineering workflow: RTL design, functional verification, waveform analysis, synthesis, and physical design. It reads and writes SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL with an understanding of semantics, not just syntax. It knows UVM methodology, understands assertions, and can generate and review complete verification environments.

Key Capabilities RTL Generation and Review: Write RTL from algorithmic descriptions, review existing code for bugs and optimization opportunities, and follow project-specific coding standards automatically. Verification Automation: Generate UVM testbenches, coverage models, and SystemVerilog assertions from specifications and documentation. Waveform Analysis: Query and analyze VCD, FST, and FSDB waveform files to identify failures and narrow down root causes without leaving the agent. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Multi-agent automated debugging that orchestrates parallel analysis runs to diagnose simulation failures, timing violations, and build errors. EDA Tool Integration: Direct integration with industry-standard AMS tools, plus support for common simulation and synthesis toolchains. Batch Mode: Run agents headlessly at scale across large codebases or test suites, with workflow automation and parallel subagent orchestration. Specification Understanding: Parse spec PDFs and documentation, extract requirements, and generate verification plans automatically.

Highlights

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
