Intercept is an agentless, managed external-facing exposure service that provides rapid visibility into external cyber risk. The service is delivered in two phases: Phase 1, baselining, and Phase 2, managed service delivery. During the baseline phase, Edgewater conducts intelligence gathering, asset visibility, dark web monitoring, threat intelligence, external attack surface discovery, and risk-based prioritization across internet-facing IT, OT, cloud, and third-party environments.

Following the baseline phase, Edgewater’s managed service provides ongoing monitoring, scanning, trend analysis, reporting, and remediation guidance across the approved exposure areas. Intercept identifies risks from the adversary’s point of view, prioritizes findings based on likelihood, impact, known exploited vulnerabilities, and active threat indicators, and delivers both executive-level summaries and detailed technical findings with clear mitigation recommendations.
