DeDup for SharePoint (SaaS): A clean workspace without infrastructure overhead
In today’s fast-moving world, order and efficiency in SharePoint matter. With DeDup (SaaS), you remove duplicate files across SharePoint without installing, configuring, or maintaining any infrastructure on your side. We host, operate, and scale the service so you get a faster, tidier, compliant SharePoint with minimal effort from your teams.

DeDup identifies duplicates using Microsoft Graph identifiers and file hashes, works on metadata (without opening file contents), and delivers clear dashboards and reports for manual review or controlled automated cleanups. In the SaaS model, security, continuity, and operational costs sit with us—complete logging, monitoring, and continuous patching provide a true “set-and-forget” experience.
Why DeDup as SaaS
- Zero customer infrastructure – onboarding via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) consent; no servers or services to deploy.
- Always up-to-date – continuous updates (security patches, performance improvements, and new features) delivered automatically, with release notes, no maintenance windows on your side.
- Predictable costs – subscription per volume (files scanned); compute, operational storage, and monitoring included.
- Operated and secured by us – patching, operational backups, 24/7 observability, and auto-scaling for peak loads.
Security & data protection (SaaS)
- SaaS processing – scanning and reporting run in our cloud platform, designed for strict data separation.
- Metadata-only by design – detection relies on Microsoft Graph file hashes; file contents are not accessed or stored.
- Minimal metadata footprint – we retain only what’s required for detection, reporting, and cleanup orchestration.
- Tenant isolation by design – every customer is logically isolated; operational data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Least privilege – we request only the permissions strictly needed via Microsoft Graph and respect your existing SharePoint permissions.
- Auditability – exportable, audit-ready reports for compliance teams.
- Configurable retention – flexible retention plus full deletion upon request or contract end.
Product experience (same precision, less effort)
- Intelligent duplicate detection – high accuracy via Microsoft Graph file hashes and metadata; supports documents, images, and more.
- Centralized dashboard – end-to-end visibility: from scanning to reporting to actions (manual review or automated cleanup).
- Bulk & Auto Cleanup – run manual reviews or policy-driven automated cleanups.
- Smart Cleanup Strategies – keep “last modified” or “smallest size” automatically.
- Scan Scheduler – schedule recurring scans (daily/weekly/monthly) and receive email summaries for full visibility.
- Multi-site / multi-library – cover your entire SharePoint tenant while honoring existing permissions.
- User-centric design – an intuitive interface for admins and power users; no deep technical expertise required.
What we handle vs. what you control
- We handle (SaaS) : infrastructure, scaling, patching, monitoring, operational costs, and continuous updates—security patches, performance improvements, and new features—delivered automatically with no action on your side (release notes provided).
- You control : your SharePoint data and permissions; when and how cleanup is applied (manual or automated), and where reports are delivered.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
Evidence risk is the share of the build you cannot see before you deploy, not a security rating. Sign in to see the layer-by-layer basis for this band.
