What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

The Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA) is an intelligent, consult-led evaluation that provides deep insights into an enterprise's technical health, legacy dependencies, and cloud readiness. Leveraging agentic AI for automated discovery and industry best practices, the DTA quantifies technical debt, AI/Digital readiness, evaluates mainframe and other heritage platform dependencies, and produces prioritized, actionable roadmaps to accelerate modernization while reducing risk.

AI agents perform autonomous analysis of complex system relationships, dependency mapping, and risk assessment across hybrid environments, enabling faster and more comprehensive evaluation than traditional manual methods.

Customer Challenges

  • Limited visibility into enterprise-wide technical debt and legacy system risks
  • Skills gaps to manage, modernize, and migrate heritage platforms

•Integration and scalability constraints across heterogeneous environments

  • Security, compliance, and business continuity requirements during transformation
  • Lack of enterprise-wide observability to improve operational efficiency
  • Complexity to analyzing multiple to multiple relationships with source systems

Solution Highlights

  • Automated system inventory and discovery of application dependencies, data flows, and integration points across hybrid environments using AI agents
  • Agentic AI-driven technical debt, AI readiness and digital transformation readiness scoring, with remediation recommendations and effort estimates
  • AI agents analyze system architectures, identify patterns, and recommend optimization strategies based on discovered dependencies
  • Interactive dashboards with executive summaries, technical deep dives, system inventories, capability maturity scoring and prioritized roadmaps
  • Benchmarking against industry standards with security and compliance assessments

Engagement Approach

Step 1: Consult-Led Alignment (1–2 days)

Stakeholder workshop to confirm business drivers, desired outcomes, transformation scope, and success metrics. Initial readout frames the accelerator scope and hypotheses.

Step 2: Discovery & Analysis (4–6 weeks)

Agentic AI-assisted discovery across applications, data, and infrastructure; dependency and risk mapping; technical debt quantification; AI, digital and/or cloud readiness scoring; and early migration path evaluation. AI agents autonomously traverse system architectures to identify relationships and assess modernization opportunities.

Step 3: Modernization Blueprint

Definition of target-state architectures on Azure, migration waves, landing zones, security and compliance controls, and a sequenced roadmap with effort estimates and risk mitigations.

Step 4: Execution Readiness & Value Case

Business case with TCO/ROI, operating model implications, success measures, and an implementation plan that aligns to budget and risk appetite. Optional quick-start pilots to de-risk full-scale execution.

Key Deliverables

  • Current-state inventory and dependency maps (apps, data, integration)
  • Technical debt, AI and Digital readiness scorecard with prioritized remediation backlog
  • Cloud readiness analysis and migration strategy options (rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, retire)
  • Target-state reference architectures on Microsoft Azure with security and compliance guardrails
  • Phased modernization roadmap with costs, benefits, and risk mitigation plan
  • Executive readout and detailed technical appendix

Business Outcomes

  • Faster transformation with lower risk
  • Priority decisions based on data and business value
  • Stronger security and resilience pre- and post-migration
  • Ability to periodically reassess maturity versus a single point in time evaluation
  • Higher efficiency with observability and AIOps
  • Clear TCO/ROI with an actionable plan

Why Kyndryl + Microsoft

  • Leadership in managing complex, mission-critical estates across industries and geographies
  • Established accelerators and integrations to expedite safe migration and modernization
  • Advanced agentic AI capabilities for automated analysis and intelligent recommendations

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.
