IRiS Assistant brings governed AI to data platform design. It reads your source schemas and proposes a complete, standards-based target model — so your team designs in hours what used to take weeks, without handing modelling judgement to a black box.
AI does the heavy lifting; your architects stay in control. Every structure IRiS proposes is presented for review and explicit approval before it enters your model. Nothing is generated silently, and every decision is transparent, testable and auditable — the way regulated data teams need it to be.

What IRiS Assistant does
- Automated model design — proposes a complete, standards-based warehouse structure from your source metadata, ready for your team to review.
- Load-pattern detection — analyses each source to recommend the right load treatment (CDC, delta, snapshot or full), so tables are modelled correctly from the start.
- PII surfacing — flags likely personal data at the column level and rolls it up per table, so sensitive attributes are visible in design, not discovered in production.
- Review-first workflow — architects accept, revise or reject each proposal at explicit approval gates.
- Bring your own model — connect your own Anthropic or Azure AI Foundry credentials; the language model is a governed component, never an unchecked decision-maker.
Built for the Microsoft data platform
IRiS Assistant connects to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Snowflake to read source structures, and deploys as an Azure Managed Application directly into your own subscription. It runs on Azure Container Apps with a managed PostgreSQL Flexible Server — automatic HTTPS, no infrastructure for your team to hand-build.
Your data stays yours
Because IRiS deploys into your subscription, source structures and models never leave your Azure tenant. Access is licence-controlled, and Ignition Data's intellectual property is protected within the deployed image.
