What the publisher says
As described on Microsoft Marketplace.
AI Dispatcher by FieldCamp is an AI scheduling and dispatch layer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service. It works with your existing work orders, requirements, bookable resources, and bookings — Dynamics 365 stays your system of record — and takes over the deciding: which technician, which order, which route. Every assignment is returned as a confidence-scored recommendation with the reasoning shown per booking.
What it does
Show the rest of the publisher’s description (22 more lines)
- AI work order-to-technician matching — every work order scored against skills, location, availability, equipment, and schedule constraints
- Auto and Assist modes — the AI books assignments itself, or proposes them for dispatcher approval, with per-job reasoning either way
- Real-time route optimization — technician routes re-sequenced to cut drive time; changes are applied only after Apply/Discard review, and re-optimization only reorders existing bookings
- Dynamic rescheduling — emergency work orders, cancellations, and overruns trigger a re-plan the moment they happen
- Crew and multi-day project dispatching — multi-technician crews, shared equipment, and phased multi-day schedules planned natively
- Capacity- and equipment-aware dispatching — workload limits and equipment requirements respected on every booking
- Live dispatch map and timeline — every technician and job block across the day, with live GPS tracking
- Operational agents — end-of-day reconciliation and next-day capacity forecasts
- Dispatch analytics — acceptance rates, technician utilization, schedule performance
How it's different from Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO)
- Event-triggered, not batch timers. RSO optimizes when a published optimization schedule fires; AI Dispatcher reacts to the event itself.
- Crews included. RSO doesn't consider Pool or Crew resource types; AI Dispatcher treats multi-technician and multi-day work as first-class.
- Weighted objectives, not a ranked list. Travel time, promised windows, overtime risk, and priority are weighed together per job.
- Transparent and reviewable. Every recommendation carries its reasoning; nothing moves without Apply.
It doesn't replace the schedule board — it's the decision layer that fills it. RSO can stay for an overnight lane or be scoped down gradually; there is no migration and no cutover. Relative to the Scheduling Operations Agent, it covers a wider perimeter: assignment, routing, crews, and emergencies in one layer.
Use cases
- Same-day dispatch operations where the schedule changes after the morning run
- Emergency and priority work order response
- Crew-based and multi-day project scheduling
- Route-dense operations where drive time is the margin
- Capacity planning across territories and technicians
- Field service teams in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, utilities, equipment maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, pest control, and any multi-technician operation on Dynamics 365 Field Service

Compliance

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
Evidence risk is the share of the build you cannot see before you deploy, not a security rating. Sign in to see the layer-by-layer basis for this band.
