Scanner Scanner assists with monitoring public safety or other traffic in real time using the power of Azure. It is designed for a news "assignment desk", where journalists track breaking stories through monitoring audio feeds.
- Cognitive Speech Services scans multiple audio feeds simultaneously
- Azure Text analytics detect specific events– e.g. fire, protest, gunshots
- Scanner Scanner’s dashboard interface sends an alert and places the event on a map
- Select channel and region – can add multiple agent channels (eg: have it actively listing to a mobile phone or scanner feed)
- Azure Blob storage keeps all recordings secure for later reference
