What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

Private AI, in your subscription, in five days.

Private AI in a Box deploys a complete AI workspace into your own Azure subscription. Your team gets chat, search over your own documents, OCR for scanned files, optional web search, and voice input — with an open-weight language model running on your own GPUs.

Show the rest of the publisher’s description (14 more lines)

Nothing is sent to an AI provider. Your prompts, documents, conversations, and embeddings stay inside your tenant. No model is trained on your content.

What gets deployed

  • A private language model served on GPU nodes in your subscription
  • Retrieval over documents your team uploads, with a vector database
  • A web chat interface, with voice input and document OCR
  • Optional self-hosted web search, with no third-party search account
  • Monitoring dashboards for your administrators
  • Microsoft Entra ID sign-in, using your existing accounts

How the engagement works

The solution template is free to deploy. Data Meaning provides a five-day fixed-price engagement to deploy, integrate with your identity and network, validate against your environment, configure it for your teams, and hand it over with runbooks and training. After that you own and operate it. An optional managed service is available if you would prefer our engineers to run it inside your environment.

You load your own documents. Data Meaning does not host the deployment and does not receive your data.

Built on open source

Private AI in a Box is assembled from established open source components, deployed unmodified from their publishers' registries. Full third-party notices are published at github.com/data-meaning-services/private-ai-in-a-box-notices.

You pay Microsoft for Azure consumption and Data Meaning for the engagement.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
