What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

BI Pixie makes your semantic models ready for Microsoft Copilot and Fabric data agents, and measures how your Power BI reports are really used.

Your organization has committed to adopting AI, and the question is no longer whether to do it but whether the answers can be trusted. Your mission-critical semantic models carry the business meaning AI needs, but they must be optimized for Copilot and data agents to answer consistently and accurately over time. The optimization takes time, and you lack the tools to scale it, to assess AI Readiness as you iterate, and to catch a regression when a semantic model changes. The first warning is a wrong number in an executive review, and by then a decision may already rest on that wrong answer.

BI Pixie puts the accuracy under your control, and shows you whether the answers can be trusted.

Take Copilot and Data Agents to Production

Five steps stand between a semantic model and an agent your business can trust. You work through them for each mission-critical semantic model, and repeat them as it changes.

  • Run an AI Readiness assessment: You get a ranked list of gaps that would make an agent answer your questions incorrectly, and a score to track as you close them. The work takes time and judgment, and so does deciding whether a semantic model is ready at all. BI Pixie cuts the time both take and supports the decision of which semantic models are ready for Copilot or a data agent.
  • Rank the work by real usage: On the reports you track, BI Pixie records which visuals your people click and correlates each one with the columns and measures behind it. Assisted by AI and focused on the fields that matter most, you optimize the semantic model in minutes instead of hours.
  • Curate the business context: AI proposes the descriptions and meaning your semantic model is missing. You review every change and choose what gets written, so your semantic model carries only wording you approved.
  • Prove the answers are right with a benchmark: BI Pixie asks real business questions of your own Fabric data agent, or through the same query engine behind Copilot in Power BI, and scores the answers against correct ones that BI Pixie computes by querying your data directly.
  • Catch regressions before your users do: Your first benchmark score is your baseline for how correctly the agent answers today. Run the benchmark periodically to catch drift in the semantic model, and detect a regression before an executive using Copilot reports it.

See How Your Reports Are Really Used

Knowing that a report was opened tells you nothing about whether it helped anyone. BI Pixie tracks a report by adding Pixies to it, invisible tracking pixels that record what people do inside the report. BI Pixie also ranks the AI Readiness work by that usage.

  • Measure adoption: See how many people open each report, how often, and which reports are unused.
  • Understand engagement: See which visuals your people use, which they pass over, and how long they stay on each page.
  • Hear from your users: On the Pro plan and above, collect NPS scores and structured feedback inside the report.
  • Audit access and filters: See which filters people apply, and review activity on reports protected by row-level security.BI Pixie collects no personal data by default. People are identified by a hash, and you can turn on named identity if your organization chooses.

Prove the Value of Your BI Investment

You see which reports pay off and which do not. Retire the reports nobody opens, focus your team on the ones people rely on, and show leadership adoption in numbers rather than anecdotes.

Run BI Pixie in Fabric, in the Cloud, or in Your Own Tenant

  • Microsoft Fabric: Add BI Pixie from the Fabric Workload Hub and work inside Fabric, with your dashboard in your own workspace.
  • Cloud service: Sign in at app.bipixie.com with nothing to deploy.
  • Your own Azure tenant: Keep your telemetry and report data in your own tenant, where BI Pixie never receives it.
