authorization (PA) costs the U.S. healthcare system an estimated $35 billion
annually and consumes roughly 13 physician-hours per week. 92% of physicians
report that PA delays care, and 29% report a PA-caused serious adverse event.
Yet 81.7% of appealed denials are ultimately overturned - PA is a
documentation-quality problem, not a coverage problem. CMS-0057-F now requires
impacted payers to expose Da Vinci PAS-conformant FHIR PA APIs by January 1,
2027, with 7-day standard / 72-hour expedited SLAs already in effect. Providers
still on fax-, portal-, and phone-based PA workflows have a narrowing window to
modernize.
Solution Overview
Artisyn
is a provider-side, Da Vinci-native agentic accelerator built on Azure AI
Foundry that automates the PA lifecycle end-to-end: intake, requirements
discovery, evidence assembly, decision support, submission, and SLA tracking.
It front-loads documentation using the Da Vinci CRD and DTR standards,
converting cases that would otherwise sit pended into real-time decisions.
Every automated approval is grounded in citations from the patient record;
every adverse or uncertain case escalates to a licensed clinician with a
complete evidence package. Artisyn never issues a denial - that determination
always remains with a human clinician, by design.
Key Capabilities
- End-to-end PA automation:
intake, requirements discovery, evidence assembly, decision support,
submission, tracking
- Native Da Vinci CRD, DTR, and
PAS support over FHIR, with fallback to X12 278, payer portals, or fax
- Citation-grounded evidence
assembly and auto-approval scoring against payer-specific policy
- Architecturally enforced
clinician-only denial path
- Real-time SLA monitoring
against CMS 7-day / 72-hour windows
- Leadership dashboards for
cycle time, approval rate, denial-recovery, and compliance posture
- Multi-tenant isolation with
role-based access for coordinators, clinicians, leadership, and admins
- A published, clinician-graded
evaluation harness tracking hallucination and override rates
Business Benefits
- Reduces order-to-submission
time from days to under 30 minutes for eligible cases
- Shifts coordinator effort
from manual assembly to review and exception handling
- Limits clinician involvement
to genuinely ambiguous, fully-prepared cases
- Improves auto-approval rates
through stronger first-pass documentation
- Builds an auditable
compliance posture ahead of the January 2027 CMS-0057-F deadline
- Gives leadership real-time
SLA and recovered-revenue visibility without manual reporting
- Lowers per-PA cost-to-serve
versus manual baselines
Typical Use Cases
- Automating outpatient imaging
(MRI, CT, PET) prior authorizations across a health system
- Preparing for the CMS-0057-F
January 2027 Da Vinci FHIR mandate
- Reducing PA backlog during
payer-mix or volume growth
- Standardizing PA workflows
across a multi-EHR integrated delivery network (IDN)
- Providing leadership with SLA
and denial-recovery reporting

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
Evidence risk is the share of the build you cannot see before you deploy, not a security rating. Sign in to see the layer-by-layer basis for this band.
