Routinator

• Free and open-source RPKI validator designed for secure Internet routing validation.
• Validates Route Origin Authorizations (ROAs) against RPKI trust anchors.
• Generates Validated ROA Payloads (VRPs) for use by routers and network systems.
• Helps protect networks against BGP route hijacking and invalid route announcements.

Routinator Usage:

$ sudo su

$ cd /opt/routinator

# Check the installed Routinator version

$ routinator --version

# Check Routinator service status

$ systemctl status routinator

# Check whether Routinator is running

$ systemctl is-active routinator

# Check whether Routinator starts automatically at boot

$ systemctl is-enabled routinator

# Start Routinator

$ systemctl start routinator

# Restart Routinator

$ systemctl restart routinator

# Check Routinator service logs

$ journalctl -u routinator -n 50 --no-pager

# Follow Routinator service logs

$ journalctl -u routinator -f

# Check Routinator listening ports

$ ss -lntp | grep -E '3323|8323'

# Check Routinator HTTP API status

$ curl http://127.0.0.1:8323/api/v1/status

# Check Routinator HTTP version endpoint
