What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

Unlock the power of your data without writing a single line of code. This application is an innovative AI-powered assistant that allows anyone to query and analyze databases using simple, natural language. It serves as an intuitive bridge between your questions and your database, empowering non-technical users to gain critical business insights on their own.

Designed for business analysts, product managers, and decision-makers, our tool translates your plain-English prompts into precise SQL queries. You can ask complex questions like "What were our top 5 most profitable products in the last quarter?" and get immediate results. The application then lets you dive deeper, allowing you to "chat" with your query results to refine your understanding and uncover further insights.

How It Works

Our tool streamlines data interaction into a simple, secure process:

  • Ask a Question: You type a request in natural language.
  • AI-Powered Translation: The application securely sends your prompt along with your database's schema (table and column structure) to the AI provider of your choice. Crucially, the AI never reads or has access to your actual business data.
  • SQL Generation & Execution: The AI returns an SQL query, which the application then executes against your database.
  • Interactive Analysis: The results are displayed, and you can ask follow-up questions about that specific dataset to explore the information further.

Supported Platforms & Prerequisites

To ensure maximum flexibility, our tool integrates with a wide range of popular services.

Supported Databases:

Microsoft SQL Server (including Azure SQL Database)

Oracle Database

PostgreSQL (including Azure Database for PostgreSQL)

MySQL (including Azure Database for MySQL)

Supported AI Providers:

Azure OpenAI Service

OpenAI

GitHub Copilot compatible models

Prerequisites: To use this offer, you must have active credentials for your target database and a valid account or API key for your chosen AI service provider.

Limitations and Conditions

Please review the following conditions to ensure this tool meets your needs:

Data Privacy Guarantee: The core of our security model is that the AI models only receive the database schema (e.g., table names, column names, data types) to generate queries. At no point is the underlying data from your tables sent to or accessed by the AI provider.

Query Quality: The accuracy and efficiency of the generated SQL depend on the capability of the selected AI model and the clarity of your natural language prompt. Vague or ambiguous questions may produce unexpected or inefficient queries.

Chat Functionality Scope: The follow-up "chat" feature operates only on the dataset returned by the most recent query. It does not retain context from previous, separate queries and cannot be used to ask new questions about the entire database.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
