What the publisher says

As described on Microsoft Marketplace.

The Applica solution automates business processes that require scrutiny and comprehension of documents. Knowledge workers spend up to 28% of their time on such tasks, yet adoption of existing automation solutions remain slow. Applica extracts necessary information from any unstructured or semi-structured document, regardless of wording and layout. Moreover, each piece of information is extracted in context: every name, date, amount, or other fact is assigned a relevant interpretation and made available for other systems, such as RPA or workflow/document management software.

TECHNOLOGY

Show the rest of the publisher’s description (5 more lines)

Engineered by an R&D team of over 45 PhDs and AI scientists, Applica Robotic Text Automation utilizes proprietary neural language models and Contextual Awareness, a brain-inspired technology that mimics the way that humans interact with documents. As a result, the Applica engine requires a fraction of the data necessary for training other AI systems (sometimes just a handful of examples), it is language- and domain-agnostic, and, most importantly, it can be trained for new types of documents and use cases by business practitioners rather than by AI experts. Thus, Applica can be rapidly deployed by system integrators or even used directly by end customers.

INDUSTRIES & USE CASES

Applica is currently used in finance, insurance, legal services, customer care, and production to process hundreds of thousands of unique documents per month. Typical use cases in finance include automated document processing in mortgage lending and factoring. In insurance the most common use case is the processing of claims and medical documentation. In debt collection Applica automates the processing of complex legal documents. In customer care Applica is used to handle email complaints automatically. In production the Applica engine automatically books account receivable invoices.

BENEFITS

Typically, deployment of Robotic Text Automation liberates up to 90% of the human workforce from mundane, detail-intensive work and results in up to 85% reduction of human errors. Unlike the human workforce, the Applica solution is also fully scalable and can handle virtually any number of documents per day. Also, it dramatically speeds document turnover time, which leads to those upticks in customer experience that result from faster decisions and speedier resolution of claims and complaints.

  • FedRAMPConfirmedNot listed90%, registry-checkedNo FedRAMP Marketplace entry matched this vendor's domain, checked 2026-08-27registry recordas observed 2026-08-27

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.

Unknown means this listing does not publish a repository. It is not a statement that the code is closed, and a linked repository is not a claim that the publisher wrote it: the registry computes that relationship privately and does not publish it.
