Aerie is AidenAI’s Azure Cloud Governance and FinOps platform. It brings developer self-service, policy-gated approvals, governed delivery, access control, cost intelligence, optimization and leadership visibility into one role-scoped operating experience.
Most cloud organizations manage demand, delivery, governance and cost through separate ticketing systems, cloud consoles, pipeline tools, spreadsheets and cost dashboards. This fragmentation makes simple requests slow, weakens ownership and leaves FinOps recommendations disconnected from the teams expected to act on them. Aerie connects the lifecycle from request through optimization so every resource can be understood in business, technical, governance and financial context.

REQUEST
Developers use a guided service catalog to request approved infrastructure, repository access and remote access. Requests capture the application, environment, project, owner, budget and technical configuration required for governance and cost attribution. Users can follow requests and operate within their approved scope without requiring broad Azure portal privileges.
APPROVE
Aerie routes each request through policy-aware, multi-level approval. Approval requirements can reflect cost, environment, resource type, application risk and organizational responsibility. Approvers see request context, policy conditions and expected impact in one queue. Decisions, exceptions and comments are retained as evidence.
PROVISION
Approved requests invoke governed automation based on reusable infrastructure and deployment blueprints. Aerie works with Azure Resource Manager, Azure Policy and enterprise delivery pipelines, including GitHub Actions. This enables repeatable delivery through approved patterns instead of one-off console changes.
OPERATE
Aerie maintains the relationship between a resource and its application, project, environment, owner, access grants, approval history and deployment evidence. Role-scoped views allow developers, operations, approvers, FinOps and leadership to work from the same operating record while seeing only what their responsibilities require.
CONTROL ACCESS
Infrastructure, repository and remote-access requests follow the same governed workflow. Access can be tied to verified applications, approved for a defined purpose and revoked when no longer required. This reduces standing access and creates a traceable record of who received access, who approved it and what scope was granted.
UNDERSTAND COST
Aerie connects Microsoft Cost Management data, budgets, forecasts and Azure Advisor recommendations with resource ownership and business context. Costs can be analyzed by service, subscription, resource group, environment, application, owner and project. Aerie distinguishes observed cost, forecast and estimated opportunity; it does not present generated values as billing truth.
OPTIMIZE
Idle, orphaned, underutilized, commitment and tagging opportunities are organized as actions rather than static dashboard findings. Recommendations can be assigned to owners, reviewed, applied or dismissed, and tracked through resolution. FinOps teams can see potential value and execution status instead of repeatedly rediscovering the same waste.
MEASURE GOVERNANCE AND VALUE
Persona dashboards and scheduled reporting surface spend to date, forecast, budget variance, idle and orphaned resources, potential savings, pending approvals, aging exceptions and project-level cost context. Leadership can move from an estate view to the application, owner or resource behind a result.
USE GROUNDED AGENTIC ASSISTANCE
Aerie includes an agentic copilot that answers questions using authorized platform data. It can explain cost movement, summarize approval bottlenecks, identify resources without clear ownership, guide catalog choices and generate role-relevant analysis. Answers remain connected to the data and scope available to the user. When required source data is unavailable, the platform reports that limitation instead of fabricating a result.
CONNECT TO AZURE CONTROLS
Aerie’s Azure operating model uses Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC for identity and scope, Azure Resource Manager and Azure Policy for governed control, Microsoft Cost Management and Azure Advisor for financial and optimization signals, and Azure Monitor for operational evidence. Connections are configured to the customer’s tenant, management-group structure, subscriptions, security model, billing scope and delivery standards.
Aerie does not replace Azure as the system of record. It creates the governed system of engagement around Azure: one place for developers, cloud operations, approvers, FinOps teams and technology leaders to request, approve, provision, operate and optimize cloud resources with shared context and a complete action history.
