Croatian Localization Base — Core Fields & Reusable Business Logic for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Overview

Show the rest of the publisher’s description (17 more lines)

The Croatian Localization Base extension is a foundational component for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, purpose-built for companies operating under Croatian regulatory and accounting requirements (knjigovodstvo). It delivers a shared library of Croatian-specific data fields, mandatory field configurations, and reusable business logic that powers our full suite of Croatian localization extensions.

This extension is not a standalone end-user application — it is a prerequisite base layer that must be installed before any of our other Croatian localization extensions. By centralizing common logic in one place, it eliminates duplication across extensions and ensures consistent, compliant data standards throughout your Business Central environment.

Who Is This For?

This extension is designed for Finance & Accounting teams in Croatian businesses using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central who need to meet local legal, fiscal, and reporting obligations.

Key Capabilities

  • OIB (Osobni Identifikacijski Broj) on Customers & Vendors — Adds the Croatian Personal Identification Number field to customer and vendor cards, with mandatory validation on posting to ensure every fiscal document meets Croatian legal requirements.
  • Employee OIB — Extends the Employee card with OIB capture, required for Croatian payroll and HR reporting.
  • User Card Enhancements — Adds First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number as mandatory fields on the User card, ensuring complete user data for Croatian business reports.
  • Mandatory Field Configuration — Enforces Croatian compliance rules at the point of posting, preventing documents from being submitted with missing legally required data.
  • Shared Reusable Logic — Provides a consistent foundation of tables, page extensions, and business logic consumed by all other extensions in our Croatian localization suite, avoiding duplication and ensuring uniform behavior.

Regulatory Compliance

The fields and validations in this base extension directly support compliance with:

  • Croatian tax law — OIB is legally required on all fiscal documents
  • eRačun (e-Invoicing) — Croatian electronic invoicing mandate requiring structured, validated taxpayer identification
  • PDV (VAT) Reporting — Accurate OIB data on customers and vendors is essential for correct VAT submissions to Croatian tax authorities (Porezna uprava)

Important Note

This extension serves as a required prerequisite for our Croatian localization suite. It is intended to be installed by system administrators or partners as part of a broader Croatian Business Central implementation. End users will benefit from its capabilities through the dependent extensions built on top of it.

Confirmed means matched to a public authoritative registry. Claimed means the vendor or its listing states it, not yet cross-checked. A framework not shown was not found in any source we hold, which is not evidence against it. Not listed means a scoped registry check found no match for this vendor's domain: a No is a scoped registry check, not a compliance judgment. Confidence bands: 95% domain-verified, 90% registry-checked, 80% self-attested, 70% weak signal. Self-attested items marked “vendor's site” are gathered from the vendor's own website and are not verified by us.
