Build Dynamics - Base Calendar Sync tool helps Australian organisations keep Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central calendars aligned with national, state, and territory public holidays.
The extension synchronises Australian public holiday data from the Nager.Date public holidays API into Business Central. For each active Australian state or territory configured by the customer, the app maintains a dedicated base calendar and can optionally apply the same holiday pattern to shop calendars. This helps delivery planning, purchasing, sales fulfilment, service scheduling, warehouse operations, and date calculations respect the correct non-working days.

The app is intended for Business Central customers operating in Australia who need accurate calendar maintenance without manually updating holiday entries each year. It is especially useful for teams that plan shipments, coordinate service appointments, manage purchasing timelines, or rely on Business Central working-day calculations.
Key capabilities include assisted setup, state and territory calendar configuration, configurable years back and forward, manual synchronisation, optional scheduled synchronisation through the Business Central job queue, public holiday cache import and export, sync logging, and optional holiday warnings on supported sales, purchase, service, and warehouse pages.
Location-based behaviour can be enabled so that document warnings can consider the Australian state associated with a location where configured. A primary state can also be nominated for fallback behaviour and role centre information.
The app uses HTTPS to retrieve Australian public holiday definitions from the Nager.Date API. Customers must enable HTTP client requests for the extension in Business Central Extension Management before synchronisation can run. The extension applies public holiday data returned by the configured API source; it does not independently determine or change statutory holiday definitions.
